The Bleeding Scale

In the gray fortress of Ashwick Penitentiary, archives clerk Nora Vance uncovers a deleted video of guards murdering an inmate to protect a city-wide corruption ring. Branded a traitor by the very system she once trusted, Nora is thrust into a cold, legal abattoir where statutes are steel traps and mercy is a death sentence. As the police, courts, and media close in to silence her, she must decide whether to trade her conscience for survival or become another invisible sacrifice on the altar of a broken covenant between law and humanity.
