Breath of Ash

In 1971, a boiler explosion at a pharmaceutical plant in the isolated town of Thornwood triggers a cascade of horror. As a relentless blizzard cuts off all contact with the outside world, a series of inexplicable deaths pushes the trapped residents toward paranoia and self-destruction. An outsider engineer discovers that the explosion was no accident but the first move in a silent power struggle by a corporation to bury a lethal secret. With no law to appeal to, the true verdict is delivered not in court, but through whispered accusations and the sharpening of kitchen knives in the dark.
