Island of Waking Doubt

When a typhoon traps a seaside town in Kagoshima Prefecture, a former fraud case defendant becomes the first victim in a series of ritualistic revenge killings. As the island descends into self-appointed trials and executions, a Korean-Japanese journalist must survive long enough to expose the shadowy executor who still breathes justice beyond the law.
