Lethe's Spill

In the decaying industrial town of Riversend, Veridia, steel magnate Lucas Kaine is convicted of poisoning the Greywater River, causing ecological collapse and the death of activist Ella Flynn’s grandfather. To escape his past, Lucas enters a clandestine memory-erasure experiment known as Project Nepenthe. Reborn as Samuel Black, a humble river-restoration volunteer with no recollection of his crimes, he unwittingly falls in love with Ella, the very woman whose life he shattered.
